| new box, old game
So I'm playing BF2142 a bit again. What a piece of crap this game is in 2007. Really. Totally crap netcode, craptastic hitscans, and completely random happenstance combine for a good round of beer and laughter but not much else.
I'd rather watch 150 UEF combat bots chase my commander across the blue seas than deal with this nonsensical gameplay.
I hop onto the 2142 server and it's not five minutes into the game that I have five squad leaders barking gibberish into my ear that I can't even understand due to the CRAP ingame VOIP. USE THE DAMN RADIO VOICEOVERS, THEY HAVE A MUCH LARGER VOCABULARY THAN YOU WHACKJOBS.
And who the hell are these kids on the server these days? I need some old school NeverKnow, Teckng, Jobbie, Richard, squads that were a barrel of laughs even when the BF2 crap-o-meter was on full swing.
This game is crap. Quake Wars might be a game to play, but this one is just for stress relief and random frags while I fall asleep after a hard day's work.
