Ok to consolidate the various threads on this topic, starting new thread.
The BF2 Team for TGL is looking for more members for an 8v8 Conquest division or 5v5 Infantry Only Division or possible both.
Match times for 8v8 are
Sundays @ 9:30 pm (eastern time).
The 5v5 matches are on
Thursdays @ 9:30 pm (eastern time).
Preseason starts
June 24th (8v8) and
June 28th (5v5).

Also looking for someone to fill some captain/leadership roles. Anyone with previous league experience would be great to have for this. Please let me know if your interested in that as well. I'm already aware that I won't be available for the First week of the regular season (July 8th & 12th) so I will need someone to set things up for that week.
You will need to go to the
TGL Website and signup there. I'll PM the info to join and then you will join the team. You should also download and use Ventrilo if you don't already.
Next you will need to input your PB GUID. If you don't know how to get this you just need to login to an online Punkbuster activated server and open the console with "~" key and type "pb_myguid". This will give you a long 32 digit alpha numeric code. You will need to write down the last 8 characters.
From the TGL website you should be able to download BF2 Pro 1.5 client and then keep up with any custom maps they post on the site. For preseason I believe they are requiring a modified version of Jalalabad and the new Highway Tampa map. (Complete maplist can be found on the
TGL site for each week for 8v8...the 5v5 maps were not posted yet.
Lastly I suggest you go to the
division list of the TGL site and download and read through the "Rules". There are a lot of important rules that may be useful in there and many things that can cause your team to forfeit the match such as only the team leaders can use "global" chat after the match begins.
I want to do this to have some fun and challenge our skills. Please post any questions or interest ASAP as time to sign up is running out.
