I'm not going to tell you what to get or not to get; I'll tell you what I use.
I use a Logitech MX518 in combination with an icemat. The mouse has the perfect weight to it and it fits my hand just right. In combination with the icemat, the mouse glides across it with no friction. The DPI adjustment works great and let's me change my playing style instantly as needed.
