I always get that dumbass driver message too. but I'm running xp64 bit. they claim 64 bit source has problems and runs slower. There's a way to right click on your game in steam, click properties, and put -32bit in the command line launch box. I tried that, didn't really do anything for me. I notice your running AMD so I figured there's a small chance you're running 64 too

I wonder how it runs for some of the guys with 8800 hardware
