| Any reason to buy elite model?
My nephew has been dying for a 360, so I've been debating either buying him the 20gig model, or just giving him my premium (non-hdmi) model and picking up one with hdmi. He doesn't have a HDTV, so no real reason to waste the opportunity to get the HDMI model for myself. hehe
I'm just thinking besides the whole HDMI appeal, is there really any reason to get the Elite? I know they are starting to put the HDMI port on the Premium edition as well. I imagine I wouldn't see much of a difference since my HDTV only does 720p/1080i and does not support full 1080p.
I'm thinking the whole Elite deal would be just for a bigger hard drive and the HDMI. I personally have no clue what the heck people put on the HD to fill them up. Once I'm done with a demo I just delete it. Oh, I guess they do offer overpriced movie downloads. I forgot about that.
I'm just sitting here debating it, so thought i'd post, hehe ... has anyone heard any news about when they are going to release a revamped version with less rings of death and fix the overheating problem or whatever they claim it was?  |
