When it came time to go find EA Link, it turns out it doesn't exist. It redirects you to "EA Store." I hunted for hours for any link to the new "EA Downloader" - even poured over the FAQs/helpfiles. In the end, I got a copy of EA Downloader from some foreign site (yay google,) despite my EA account still showing that I "owned" BF2142 - it showed a "purchase date" of Sept 17, 2007. So - in six months will I no longer be able to download this if I need to? It loads EA downloader now when i launch the program, so will it not let me even launch the game after six months?! Who knows, EA hasn't said anything to me.
