| I always love it when they talk about living off of little amounts of money (2$ or whatever) in third-world countries. People think, "wow! two bucks?! holy crap! I can only get two things on the dollar menu for that! MAN that sucks!" but they never tell you how much 2$ can go for in those countries - I stayed in Nepal for a month.. 2 bucks can go a long way (probably equivalent to spending that on one big meal at a pretty nice restaurant). - they don't even tell you 2 bucks is.. per person per day? per family per day.. week? year?
and what is the 80 billion going to do? give them all a few grand to..make life better for themselves? please. Half the crap that people have tried to do to help these people have been stopped by protesters/environmentalists/local governments etc. - what makes them think it'll work now? Lol.. oh wait.. it's going through the UN right? ah I see. looks like they might have a few skimming programs running, you now, catching all the fractions of a cent... or million dollar bundles that they use to pay for the workers on the small island they just bought to vacation on.
