You should respect everyone everywhere, no matter what. You never know when you might need help from someone, and I believe in Karma (to a degree).
Folks, I have spoken with Jake in Ventrilo. I believe that we can sometimes turn a problem person into a productive member. Let's see how he acts and go on from there; meanwhile, he has promised me he would act more reponsibly in ventrilo. Let's see.
