| in many ways it's not a bad fit...racing games, urban-based shooters, sports games...advertising is natural in those environments...my main concern is A) having to watch a commercial to get to the game, or during the loading period, B) a new source of revenue doing nothing to either improve the games or bring their costs down, and C) once again the end-user being exploited...
the last point is more an issue with PC games...in-game advertising on servers that the general public pays for is a bit of an ass move, as the server operator (the person paying for the space advertised in) will never see a dime from it...
