Some good info there.
The oil change tip is nonsense with today's higher quality filters, synthetic oils and high efficiency engines. Sure back in 1970 you needed to change your oil every 3k because engines ran dirty and were inefficient, everyone used dino oil and filters were made from cardboard. Not so today.
I pretty much always buy gas (fill'er'up) when I hit 1/2 tank. I hate driving around on E!
Edit: I always laugh at people who do the 3k oil change religiously but NEVER change their brake fluid!
