This is the government trying to "make things fair". It goes against free trade. If the customers really want something, they let the company know, threaten to change to a competitor, and follow through.

Edit: Say Company X makes boutique gaming PCs and wants Best Buy to sell them in their stores. Should the government get involved if Best Buy says no?
