Tidus was quite the ninny too (Final Fantasy 10)... but he rocked, as did the game.

IMO, Cloud was the coolest main character in FF history... and Squall was a close second... Squall was cool because he was more human like ... and i really liked the FMVs he was involved in....

Cloud looked cool and all, but I felt that the 32 bit graphics (i.e. disfigured block men and lack of voice overs) didnt let me connect with him as much as I did with Tidus.

But Ill agree... Cloud > all other FF heroesl. Especialy after watching the movie..

From what I understand and have seen, FFXII rocks - the new fighting systems takes a little bit to get used to, but kicks some serious a$$.... I'd buy a PS3 just to play FFXII and FXIII (and FFversusXIII?)
