| | | Help with beta
Hey guys i downloaded crysis beta and well it runs and everything but there is something weird and wrong.. I am running a asus m2n sli vista edition mother board with amd 4800 dual core with 8800 gts 320 mb card. And when i run it i get into a server and when i join the stuff is weird yellow i pick my guy and the graphics are just choopy real bad then DUN DUN DUN blue screen of death physical memory dump....GG |

| | I don't know what to say except that is why it is a beta and that is why they delayed the demo for a month. Just pray that they sort all this out before their November launch or this game will be a disaster.
My only real suggestion is to make sure all of your video, audio, and motherboard chipset drivers are the latest.

| | | if none of the above suggestions help, I would visit the Crysis Beta forums and see if you can find anyone with a similar problem and a solution. The beta forums info should have been included with an email confirmation from FilePlanet after you signed up for the beta.

| | | mine detected down to medium settings (8600gt), and played decently. There were some artifacts, but only with certain weapons and places, i would chalk it up to beta.
it's slightly choppy, though, so i'm not sure about it yet.

It goes away after about 30 sec. tho'. | Yeah. That delay is actually the game compiling all the shaders and scripts and stuff. It depends on your system as to how quickly they finish. You may see them for a few seconds or for a few minutes.
Honestly, the beta is junk. I wouldn't have released a beta in the state it's in right now.
