    L4D Online Strategies?

I played the demo to zombie death but when I tried Vs I was at a loss..literally. I figured I would start a thread that would be contributed to regarding the Infected Players and how to use them effectively and what their limitations are. Also are there any basic playing tips you guys/gals use? On a side note are people playing with the V Sync on or off? I have never had v sync enabled in any game and this game almost recommends it?!

edit: Smoker: best to be very long distances. It is best to find a lone player moving about so there will be no rescue. If they are tight then it is best to wait for either a hunter or boomer to attack the other player first. I have found that hunters become the main target and you can usually snag another player away in the mix.

Hunter: Surprisingly, the nub I am, did not understand how to keep moving with the hunter and I realized that I wasn't holding down the crouch the entire time. It is VERY EASY to just pounce when you first see someone but you will likely only get 20 points for a contact and that was a waste of a spawn. Hunters are best to lurk and wait for the Horde or wait for a Boomer to strike. Hunters are huge "assist players" in my book. Aim high to get them to jump further.

Boomer: OK this guy is vastly underrated so far. I think boomer is the game winner here. If you strike at the right time you will cause the horde to rush, and then if your team has brains the hunters will strike and you will just keep racking on assist points. Boomers pile up the points the most IMO.

Tank: Haven't been one so I dont know...yet.

Teamwork is essential to playing effectively as the infected, as is timing and positioning. As time passes, you'll see people utilize that class much better.

i found it difficult to know WHEN to press the attack buttons. There seems to be some sort of timing to use? Also as the smoker, are you limited to 1 try? I missed and then wasn't able to shoot again before I died? Or is there a time delay? Good tips so far.

Also I find the Uzi to be more effective ONLINE vs single player where the shotgun is golden.

There should be a circle going around your crosshair after you shoot. Once the circle is full you can attack again.
