    Left 4 Dead Cinematic Effects

I was wondering who here uses the cinematic effects in-game?

Personally, I don't, as I run the game on pretty low settings on my notebook and don't think I could really appreciate them, but I do plan on checking them out once I build my new desktop...you can see screenshots of the difference between the two settings below...

I notice that is a bit grainier and foggier, it's a difference.

I haven't messed with my graphics settings, so if they are enabled by default...I do use them.

oh seriously? I thought everyone was running them (I've been having so much fun I haven't really thought of this). It puts it over the top. The movie film graininess is awesome in dark rooms, it adds some great realism to it. there is also motion blur going on.. so much fun. my junk defaulted to everything turned on... game runs pretty smooth too! good work by Valve

    I know a cinematic effect I'd like:

some more goddamn mofo guns to choose from. Or at least a machete. I mean, we have the decapitation animation, why not a machete, too? Who seriously goes into a zombie apocalypse without a machete?

Don't tell me there aren't any extra guns that weren't in the demo mg:
