    I think this game would be totally stupid with many more players. when's the last time you saw a zombie movie with 16 people working together? That's just my $.02.. I think it's fine the way it is. What would melee spam look like with 10 people stuck in one corner?

    Now, I could see having a set of additional people to play common infected... but I don't see how you could rotate them in and out of survivor and special infected.

    Duke, what is your idea?

    im waiting for a 32 client mod for L4D... it would be awesome IF the maps were huge and spawn points rotated or something for the survivors. imagine 4-8 groups of survivors against 4-8 groups of infected on a huge map... that would be win

    Spawn separately in designated survivor areas, meet up with other survivors, fight off zombies alone or in groups, or as a team.

    I'm not complaining about the game. Just the fact that i have to wait an hour to play... then when I boot up the game and start joining when the game is over, people who have had their client open for 2 hours hitting retry get in before me. Then when i finally do play it's 10pm and its 3 on 3.

    Im going back to TF2.

    Maybe not exactly 16 people, but more than just 4:
    Dawn of the Dead
    Day of the Dead
    Shaun of the Dead
    28 Weeks Later
    Army of Darkness

    I'm sure there are a lot more, but those are just a few that come to mind.

    I love the game right now, but if Valve came out with some bigger maps designed for more people, different game modes, increased the zombie count, etc., there would be plenty to go around for more than 4 players.

    You could have some maps that spawn players on different sides of the map and have to meet up to work together on harder goals. They could do so much for this game, but alas, they've kinda doomed themselves for future expansion with the title of Left 4 Dead.

    Who knows what people could do with it once an SDK gets released though, and maybe a little help with updates from Valve.
