    PS3/360/Wii/PC/PS2/DS/PSP: Wolverine Origins

I never considered even renting this game until this video.

If you like hack n' slashers (such as "The Force Unleashed")

And want to see Wolverine in his true form (an untamed beast)

Then this game may be for you...
    ---

Watch some of the video, seriously. You should be impressed. (although not too much as it gives some stuff away)

yea, not sure about this game. I figured the last Wolverine game would be better then it was, but it didn't get reviewed/rated that hot. (few years back)

I don't think I could stand to play this game because the character looks too close to Jackman. He is probably the worst casting I've seen since Dolph Lundgren played Heman in Masters of the Universe. Wolverine is like what, 5'3"? ... not 6'2"! ... they could at least get the proportions right in the game.

The height issue never really bothered me, but I feel Jackman is going to be the best Wolverine for quite some time (imho).

The brutalness and gore represented in the game (you get a great sense of it from the video) is a truer vision of what Wolverine is really like, which satisfies me as Wolverine is probably one of my favorite superheros, other than DennyCrane, lmao.

I feel this would be an awesome rental, purchase though? Not sure.

Yeah, and the hobbits weren't really 3 foot tall actors. deal with it.

I agree, rental if it gets decent reviews. Hopefully they pull off a decent game, always hit and miss (usually more miss sadly) when it involves such a cool comic character.

Another one to look at if you enjoyed this is the Batman: Arkham Asylum trailer. Feels like the same tone -- gritty game with a badass character.

Hopefully one of the games turns out to be worthy of a purchase. hehe ... if not, I still have the new/revamped Riddick game to bust into.

Yeah that new Batman game looks badass for sure.

    EDIT:

    IGN review video here:

IGN Video: X-Men Origins: Wolverine -- Uncaged Edition PlayStation 3 Review - Video Review

7.8/10 = great rental, but don't buy. As I predicted.
