Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Movie Trailer

Could this be a decent popcorn flick based on a video game? Or are we doomed for more Hollywood flopture? I can't tell, but the trailer at least looks, how should I say this, not half bad?

Check out the official movie website for more information.

yeahhhh, we'll see. Trailer looks cool, hopefully not like all trailers where it's just the only good parts shown. Not really keen on jarhead being the prince, but we'll see if he can keep this from sucking a la most other video game movies.

It'll be watchable, but nothing you'd go see again, or buy, that's for sure.

//The most recent PoP game was rather pleasant to play. It was a relaxing game with the atmosphere (music, beautiful scenery, graceful free-running-type maneuvering).

I never played the PS2? Sands of Time game though, but I think some heralded that as a good story?

The sands of tine on ps2 was one of the better games on I played on it. The sequels not so much. the most recent one was really good but was much different. I have little hope for video game movies in general but I always reserve judgement

Sands of Time was good on gamecube, ran flawlessly with the exception of that bug where if you saved in the one spot, the princess never opens the door for you, thus leaving you there for all eternity.

    Movie, meh. We'll see.

I pray to any god that will listen, that they do not make any sequels.
