As some of you may know, today is the first day of the World Wide Developer's Conference for Apple. This multi-day event is kicked off on a Monday (today) by a keynote speech from Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
It is widely rumored that today will be the official announcement of the second generation of the iPhone. We are also expected to get official word on the opening of the Application Store that will allow iPhone and iTouch users the ability to purchase third party applications from developers.
