Craig, or anyone else, can't they just make it that the phone bricks whenever any file is formatted? I understand that may be a little difficult with downloads and a store.
they're not really into bricking stuff anymore. what happens is hax dont play nice with their updates and people assume that apple bricked them. they DID do that at first, but got away from it after realizing it was borderline illegal. im sure they still skirt the issue in some ways, but they're happy with sales. And now that its a global device, all bets are off and they cant pull that shit anymore. organizations like the EU would fine the shat out of them
