| | | I give Apple kudos for the effort of a strong convergence gadget, but I think someone else will step up with something far better
read: Blackberry with a killer multimedia adapter.

| | Estimate puts iPhone sales at 500,000 in opening weekend - Jul. 2, 2007
iPhone sells half a million. on their biggest weekend. and they expect to sell 10 million by the end of 2008.
i don't see it. Let's say all the normal people stay away from the crazy opening weekend, then buy - that's another couple hundred thousand. Then the normal upgrade cycle, maybe 50,000 per week (that's very generous) - even over the next 2 years, that's only 5 million.

| | | as far as greey Apple taking over the world, their plan is slightly more modest... 1% cell phone market by the end of 2008. They better fix the glitches...

And it went through R&D and QA testing with it. THen they switch to glass at the last minute. When I do things like this at work it always spells disaster. Dropped iPhone = hello nicely shattered glass display. It'll look like a windshield after a bat hit | .
