I-Touch and LG Voyager

Ok so for christmas I wanted to get the apple i-touch so i can watch movies, listen to music, look at pics etc. I have to get a new phone in february, but i have verizon so i can't get the i-phone. However i just saw that verizon is releasing the LG Voyager which is supposed to be the equivalent of the i-phone... except i can't find any good information on it. anybody know how the voyager compares to the i-phone in terms of video, music, images, touch, and memory size? i particularly like the i-touch's interface; does the voyager have a similar interface?

i like that the voyager opens up to give you a full keyboard that is great, but im worried about verizon's vendetta against putting your own media on your phone (i have a verizon razr and the only way you can get media to it is by downloading it from verizon).

i could possibly get both, but id rather have one that i can just always have with me

true that but the phone came with a usb port meant for both charging and media transfer but verizon blocks any media transfer over the port

and thanks jmixx!
im probably going to wait until it comes out and run to the verizon store to check it out before i buy it. i was watching a video of it in action on youtube and the interface doesnt look as snazzy as the i-touch... i noticed in the video some lag in the animations and the guy had problems hitting some of the buttons in the video

I can put my own MP3s on my phone and I have verizon. I can make them my ringtones and play them as regular MP3s.

two words: GET IT.

My buddy pre-ordered one a few weeks ago, so he got to pick it up early this week. I own an enV, so I kinda know what it's like to have the whole flip-into-qwerty deal, but even with that similarity the Voyager is a beautiful piece of equipment.

The touch screen is especially nice...it's so fast and crisp, I'm actually contemplating throwing down the 400 to get one myself (since I just used my new every 2 on the enV)...it's just THAT good.

Much props to Verizon for finally getting out of the standard menu shit too....I've never been a big fan of the verizon "browser" or whatever the hell it is, and the touch screen eliminates all that "press the left button, then go left four times, press 3 and then you're at your games menu" -- It's all there for you on the front touch screen.

Two thumbs up! Make the investment!
