Well there is a thread going around about everyones great stories how they got their expert badges. Well....I'll 180 that and tell the otherside of what went wrong. About 4 minutes ago......I went onto my old account to just mess around on BF2. I was close to getting my expert sniper badge...the idea of a gold badge was just great......dont care how easy it was.....it would make me feel good. Well...about 2 kills away from getting it....some jerkoff gets on and lags the game to hell....my ping jumps 400 for about 3 seconds......usually its in the 90's..which isnt bad considering where I am and where the server was. Point is...I get kicked....2 kills from getting my badge. I need a break........I hope that
laggers comp exploded....ah...forgot...another story. I started a new account thingy....you know to start from scratch and enjoy the mind racking hours of playing to get some ranks. I keep all of my game files on my Seagate 200gig external so I don't clutter up my laptop. I was playing a round.......doing pretty good...racked up 3 basic badges and a ribbon. Then my external decided to turn itself off and then back on.....doing that...it shut off my game....I didnt think too much of it....so I started BF2 again.....looked at my HQ and I didnt have a single one of the badges I'd earned....infact I'm still missing them....its been about 4 days. Conspiracy or just plain old bad luck?
