BF2 and BF2142 widescreen mod?

There is none...all you can do is set the aspect ratio's in your config...and it still isnt true widescreen.

MAJOR gripe within the community towards dice about this

Per EA's request they have disabled widescreen mode in the battlefield series since it will be a benchmark for the competitive scene in online gaming and having a widescreen will give a player an unfair advantage. They have also indicated that in the next patch they will cap the FPS of all players on a server to that of the player with the lowest FPS this will furtehr enhance the teamwork and gameplay.

WTF SO EA is going to LIMIT my computer that I have paid thousands of dollars for because some kid that has an older computer and can olny run 20FPS it will HELP TEAM PLAY.

that doesnt make much sense... they dont care for Css
