I recommend you do not attempt to "hack" the .exe with a "no cd blah blah blah". Punkbuster will find you and lol all over your banned carcass.

So I'm guessing loading the CD every time before playing is necessary. That sucks.

Welcome to teh leet club then! Be sure to hit up the Drunken Masters City Maps server (IP: 74.53.94.163:16567) and squad up with the sR guys! (Usually called the "Mics/Team" squad. Dont worry, you dont have to have a mic, just need to play with the squad. Cap flags, etc)

And dont be afraid to ask to try out unlocks and schtuff, so you know what you want when you get to an unlock rank.

And for most of your references BF2S.com - The Numbers Behind Battlefield 2 is a great site. It has tip, tricks, damage graphs, etc.

You have to do that with all new non-downloadabel games

Actually, you can load the CD with an drive emulator.

This one works well:
- THE DAEMONS HOME

Basically, you make an .iso of the CD and keep it on your HD. Then you mount the .iso on a virtual drive. The game thinks you have the CD in, and you dont have to wear the CD out taking it in and out all the time.

Its not a crack, just a copy of the CD. I have used it for well over a year with no Punkbuster problems.

ive actually been using that same one when i played bf2 because my laptop would never get passed the opening screen with the cd in. its actually a problem specific to my laptop model. ghey.

I have iso's for everything but BF2, they dont seem to work for that... *sigh*
