Trivium Nate pwns without cheats!
Lightbulb BF2 and BF2142
Okay so I recently bought BF2 and BF2142 ok so I play single player seeing as how when I click on refresh server list on Multiplayer servers never show up,
My question is this
on one single player level i knifed a guy and got his dog tags, and on another level i got a gold medal, but idk how how to view what iv got or idk if its doing anything, and my rank was private but when I click on single player it doesn't say that I have the rank of private and right next to that it says medals that ive got but it doesn't show the gold medal that I got,

Also how do you win?
I have one a few matches but I would think that somewhere it would say level completed but it doesn't I have won on a couple of the levels but idk...

Ok...BF2 and BF2142 are really multi-player games. Playing single player is just kind of like practice. The only time your stats will be affected is when you play in Multi-player mode and on a "ranked" server.

The gameplay style of the battlefield series does not have "levels" that you complete. Its strictly multiplayer and you win by bringing your opponent down to zero tickets. Its about capturing flags.

I don't play 2142 so I can't speak for it, but heres the info on BF2.

Play on a ranked server for awhile and acquire some points. After 100 points you will be able to check your stats online HERE. HERE is a list of the ranking system and at which points you rank up.

As for why you can't see servers in the multi-player menu it might be because you need to patch up to the most recent version. In BF2 the current version is 1.41.

I downloaded teh patch and tried to install it but
it said patch failed....

Make sure its a FULL patch and not just an incremental. If it still doesn't work try downloading the patch from another site.

I downloaded the patches from some site
I don't remember what site i think its like BattleField.com or something like that
both patches took a while to D/L but maybe ill re download
I got the patches from right here

Some extra info on gameplay:

The tickets are reduced one by one when someone on a team dies (not just critically wounded, but completely dead) or they are steadily reduced when say, the USMC has more flags than MEC, the mec will slowly bleed tickets out in addition to when someone on the MEC team dies
