Transfer Account???

Hey guys,

I'm looking at buying the BF series. I can get BF1942, BF2, and BF2142 for $25 used from a guy on [h]ardforum.

Can accounts be transferred? Is there a way to change passwords, etc? I just want to make sure its possible for me to play online once i get them. Also, please let me know exactly what kind of information I need from this guy in order to use the account...

i dont think your account is bound your CD key.

They only negative aspect of buying these games online is the original owner could potentially keep the CD key (or sell it again to someone else) so now multiple people have the key.

well if its not bound to the cd key, all i would need is an account name and password, just like steam, right?

I don't believe the account is bound to the cd key, but I think the install is.

In other words, if he still has the game installed on his PC he would be able to play it. You could create your own accounts and everything, but if the two of you decided to play with your separate accounts at the same time... it would choke and say your cd is already is use.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
