Battlefield 2 Install Order

There is a specific install order that EA recommends and I hate having to dig through their site to find it everytime. Therefore, I am going to just paste it here.

To ensure a proper installation of the Battlefield 2 series, please install in the following order. If you do not have all of the expansion and booster packs, please skip and install the next software on the list.

1. Install Battlefield 2.
Note: If you have the Battlefield 2 Deluxe pack, install and skip to step 3.
2. Install Battlefield 2: Special Forces.
3. Install the 1.41 full patch, which can be found here.
4. Install Battlefield 2: Armored Fury.
5. Install Battlefield 2: Euro Force.
6. Install the 1.41 full patch once again.

Once this is done, you will have the complete installation of the Battlefield 2 series lineup.

Update:
If you got Special Forces with the EA Download Manager, and during installation BF2CdKeyCheck.exe crashes, then you need to download this to fix it:

I don't have any of those expansions. Are they going to be needed for sR's BF2 server?

No, but I generally like to install them because once I install BF2, I play on the various servers that do support these. If all you plan on playing is on StrafeRight's server, then you just need BF2 and the v1.41 patch.

Only Special Forces...the others, not so much.

yeah, I like special forces depending on the map.

Special Forces gives you a few nice weapons...basically you're paying $20 to get new guns.
