New patch in MY BF2? Its more likely than you think.

The interview gave some great insight in to DICE's reasonings behind what they have done, and what they are planning to do.
The nGR exclusive was that new maps and patch will be released on Monday. Whilst some mightn't think this is big news, with a game that is 3 years old, this is fantastic news and we are proud that we announced it first.
I know Bud said some German site said that a patch was in the works, but a release date was never stated. Nor any mention of new maps.
So we are extremely happy that nGR is now the official home to, not only to hearing world first news relating to the Battlefield franchise in Australia and New Zealand, but our reach now extends to exclusive world first information. Hot on the heels of Battlefield communities such as Planet Battlefield, IGN etc.

The interview was directly with John Hargelid, a Live Producer from DICE, Sweden, who confirmed that support for Battlefield 2 is not over, and that an announcement regarding a possible new patch and maps will be announced on Monday. The question that was directly answered included references to a patch, maps, and gaming modes.
