BF 2: Unable To Connect

I can't seem to get a connection to create an account and join a mulitplayer server.

What's up with that?

I had the same problem
Then, I shut down zone alarm, worked great. Disable a firewall that could be blocking BF2 from accessing the interet, or open the port for BF2

It takes awhile just wait.. after you created a account after about 2 minutes to be safe but press escapre... log into the game and enter the username and password you created.. should work fine.

It gives me an error message that says I can't connect to the server.

Try logging in through cat5 cable like that guy said.(Ethernet)without wireless.

I agree, for some reason the Nconnection attempt made by the game would shut down my wifi card, so i went straight down to the router and opened all the ports the game needs.

My brother and I had the same problem. Shut down Zonealarm Pro and it ran fine.

Fixed... Norton was blocking it ... went to land line ... all is good.
