BF2...Mic working for anyone?

Has anyone been able to "talk" to their teammates on a headset yet? I cant hear or talk to anyone, just those computerized commands. Any and all info much appreciated

Yes it works, but you have to be in a squad.

I didn't know at first either, so I started cussing everyone out on the server and I still didn't get a response. That's when I knew I was doing something wrong

When I tried that I got banned, I think my mic was working...

Didn't I play with you on the NBF server a little while ago? I was under "BFA-Grimdar", I think I was base-raping the hell out of your team

Yeah you totally ruined my gaming experience... every heli or plane had c4 on it...

And then I tried to drop a artillery on your face and I missed

Yes it works. First u need 2 enter a game where the server has the headset feature enabled. You can see this on the screen where you select a server. Theres a small headset icon next to the ranked server icon. Then when you enter a game you must join a squad. Once u join a squad on the squad screen you can see who has a mic by lookin for the speaker icon to the far right. Then when you play the game hold down the B button and speak. If you are a squad leader you can also talk 2 the commander by holding down the V button and talking. You cannot talk to other squads which is not bad bcuz the more limited you are to a squad the more effective the tactics. Trust once you use the headset feature and start planning tactics with a squad and yelling out "Take Cover", "Watch out", "Enemy tank to the left", "Sniper on top of the hotel", you think to yourself "WOW! this is as real as it gets!" lol.
