| | | Question about a used BF2142 Account
I'm thinking about buying this game, but i found it used. How do iI transfer the account? Do I need the CD key? I would make sure i get it so as to avoid someone else using it. What do I need in order to do this????

| | | That may have an account linked to the CD Key, however if I recall correctly, you can create new soldiers using whatever name you want inside that account.

| | | I bought my BF2142 used, and went through this, so I can tell you exactly what the deal is. When 2142 is installed by the first owner of it, that person sets up an account with a login and password. That login and password are forever tied to that copy of 2142 in the sense that, while a user can login with it and change something like the password, EA offers no recourse to people who don’t know what the previous owners login information was.
So, if you can get it used for cheap, then great, but you need to make sure that the seller is able to pass on the login info for it, or you are wasting your money.

| Yes, you should be good to go. The CD key can not be used twice... It all works together, or not at all.
