Yeah. The server is pretty stable now, I think. I did have to restart it one morning because it wasn't responding. So that's only one restart in five days. I think that's pretty acceptable.

I think the config file also has something in it that you can set so it will restart automatically daily at a certain time, but I don't want to mess with that.

I do believe Ruxor, as part of his self imposed regimen, soft restarts the cs:s servers every morning. at least he used to. So don't feel bad if you had to do that with WiC. while a pain in the ass, it's not unusual.

now, do I have to buy this game? It looks really fun

Its a close 2nd on my fun meter in terms of current games.. the first being TF2... I was obsessed with WiC during the beta but got frustrated with it after the server issues. It will take a bit before I rejoin Dope. I'm having fun in the TF2 server right now.
