StrafeRight Launches Control Point Team-Fortress 2 Server

With the huge success of our current Team-Fortress 2 server, which focuses on Payload style maps, we thought it was time to expand our offerings of this great game to include a server dedicated to Control Point style gameplay.

So we're proud to announce the launch of our newest addition to the StrafeRight server arsenal in the form of a new Team-Fortress 2 server. For now we're going to run it as a cp_dustbowl only server to get it populated and see where that takes us. We would love to add more CP maps, but Dustbowl is far and away the most popular so let's start there.

Server IP: 64.34.195.61
Map: cp_dustbowl
Client Limit: 24

So add that IP to your favorites and be sure to hit up the new Ventrilo channel dedicated to this server while you're playing in it.

Our first (PL) TF2 has become a pretty big hit, with a rather large group of regulars. This new server will be given the same exact admin attention, which is a focus on fun and non-seriousness. (Even though the internet is by nature, a very serious place).

Since this weekend is one of those freebie deals, I encourage all of you to flip through your steam friends and invite them to one (or both!) of our servers. All it takes is one person to make a huge difference in server population.

I think it'll be great if we get something other than Dustbowl. Like cp_gravelpit or the new cp_fastlane (not a big fan of Turbine though).
