StrafeRight BF2 Server Relaunched

With the upcoming news about Patch 1.5, and more importantly the overwhelming suckitude that FPS gaming has been as of late, now seems like a good time for a bit of classic StrafeRight gaming goodness. So without further ado, here's the info for a new StrafeRight Battlefield 2 server!

Server Name: StrafeRight.com BF2
Server IP: 68.232.170.109:16567
Maps: Karkand - Sharqi - Mastuur (Euro Forces and Armored Fury maps to be added with patch 1.5)
Rounds: 2 rounds per map, teams switch between rounds
VOIP: enabled in-game, and StrafeRight Ventrilo

Update Punkbuster: PunkBuster Online Countermeasures

Reinstall Punkbuster: http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe

Also, as some of you are having trouble installing/updating the game, here are the steps I took...

- find your BF2 DVD (easier said then done)
- install BF2, then restart your computer
- launch BF2, retrieve your login, then quit
- install Patch 1.41
- update Punkbuster
- reinstall Punkbuster (yes, the order for Punkbuster is update first, then reinstall, it affects different files)
- finally play the game and join the server!
