TabletSpin.com, A Place To Talk About Tablet Computing

If you're into the coming wave of slate computing that is about to take the industry by storm, head over to TabletSpin.com,a new website that was created by several StrafeRight members. It will focus on tablet computing news, reviews, and editorials.

If you do mosey on over to check out the site, please keep in mind that TabletSpin is not the same concept as StrafeRight. It focuses directly on tablet computing and related industry news with a little bit of a spin with blogs for staff editorializing. There's no off-topic conversation to speak of, but there are forums for discussion of tablet and tablet related topics.

Anyway, we're not big fans of spamming around here so please excuse our skirt-lifting and ignore this post if you're offended in any way. Head on over to the SR off-topic threads and get in on the "Tao's backdoor virginity" conversation going on there today. We know that many people around StrafeRight are interested in tablet and slate computing in general and wanted to welcome all of you to check out the new site.

Cool Craig, thanks. The lady is looking into getting an iPad (because the Nook just doesn't do 'enough'), so I'll probably lurk around there for a while until she gets it. Who knows, maybe you guys will have updates on all the upcoming tablets so we can decide if the iPad is right for her wants/needs.

Of all the tablets that are coming down the pipe im most interested in the Archos 7... I dunno, i think it would fit my personality very well.

Helpfully there will be some pre-release reviews of it soon.

Usually I'm wary of websites that end in -spin.com, but this seems like a great place to get some info. I guess I plan on getting a tablet eventually sometime in the future, but I'll keep an eye out
