This is a very simple poll, How many people use the StrafeRight RSS Feed for the forums.

If you dont use it, please explain why... EX:

    • "The RSS feed data is not updated often enough"
    • "All the codez are crap!!"
    • "What is an RSS feed for, and what can i do with them?"
    • "I dont use RSS feeds"

If you do use the RSS feed, what can we do to make it better?

"...and I like killing zombies and Cap'n Crunch. you put those two together and you've got one LETHAL-ASS good time combo" -DanFortH

My homepage is the New Posts page, so no need for the feed. Still subscribe to it in Reader though

I don't use RSS feeds. I used to for a short while, but I pretty much check sR first thing when I get online (along with any other news sites I read) and then keep it open under all my other browser tabs, so I don't find much use in it anymore.

I use feeds for a lot of sites but StrafeRight isn't one of them. I don't use them here because I visit the site and check here too often for feeds to be useful. By the time the feeds even get updated, I'll have already seen the posts on the site.

I don't really know much about news feeds... and I use the User Control Panel page mostly... but if there's some RSS benefits... I'd be glad to listen.

I used to use the RSS feed for frontpage news items before sR 2.0 debuted. Now that everything is just a forum post I'll see it when I check for new posts.

    What everyone said above.

I don't use RSS feeds, I check SR enough,
I don't even know a lot about RSS feeds,
AND I didn't even know straferight had an
    RSS feed anyway.

    Cool that it does though.

I would like to add that if I visited this site less frequently, it would be nice to have an RSS feed for a particular thread, so I could be alerted externally when a new post is made. I have used those feeds on other forums when I was only interested in following a particular thread over time.

I think the most useful feed would be for the front page news articles.
