Anyone tried this mod out yet? It looks very cool, I have it dling atm. INSURGENCY: Modern Infantry Combat

It looks nice but the gameplay is incredibly slow and plays almost like an unpolished BF2 or AA. But that was only in a 30 min or so of gameplay.

Can this be played without having HL2 but either CS:S, DoD:S or HL2DM?

And Koniec.. you should get HL2, CSS, DOD:S and every other damn HL2 extension. LOL

The only thing I don't like is the idle gun position. It seems too centered for me. I'm used to the CS:S idle gun position where it's fixed on the right/left side of the screen.

Iron sight is cool too. But it tends to get on my nerves because it takes a bunch of the screen up.

And how can AA be slow?

and there is no crosshair ftw

This game is very realistic. No names pop up when you aim at people, no health bar.. the person runs out of breath when sprinting for too long.. bullet wounds... I'm pretty amazed. Very good game.

No problems on my machine. No lag, framerate is 100+ with all settings on max. You can either walk, jog or sprint. Dude, I recommend anyone to download this mod. It's seriously very good.
keys are a bit different than CSS but it still pwns.

oh and Silent.. it's better than DOD:S
Don't even mention that game to me anymore.. lol
We are going to pwn in this instead.

And surprisingly there were a lot of full servers.
