Warping About as if on a broomstick.....

hey everyone. Yesterday on the assault server it was brought to my attention by Cahinsodomy ( thanks chain) that somehow and for some reason ive was "warping". Apparently it looked like i was teleporting around but on my screen everything looked completely normal. My ping was high but not abnormally so with it at and around 110. If anyone has any insight as to this matter all would be greatly appreciated...

Hey uncle,
just make sure you have your rates in game set to Cable/DSL.

Sometimes you'll appear to warp if your connection settings are too low and your client cannot update fast enough.

ok. i'll try. i was wondering though, is it possible for those rates to reset themselves because up until about 2 days ago i was able to play everything fine. thanks

nope that didnt work. MY rates were already fine. ive got to fix this. I have been playing on a lot of aim maps lately.... maybe this is the source and if so how can it be fixed. Thanks.

do a tracert to the server you're having problems on...maybe its just a downed router somewhere in the net that causing issues. it happens all the time

When Chain gets killed with a HS, he usually says he was either on the phone or that you were "warping".

Don't worry. You don't warp. Nobody does...
