Does Steam Care?

I honostly don't think Steam gives a **** about any of the Counter-Strike: Source issues. They've been going on for who knows how long now, and they still haven't been resolved.

The server brower continues to not save my favorites. I know that changing VAC to "secure" and restarting CS can fix it, but they eventually stop saving. HLSW is an option, but I'd rather just use the in-game favorites saver...

Why is the browser all smushed together? Players, ping, and server are smashed next to each other every time I start up the game.

Are there any ways to fix these permanently, or is Steam going to leave their customers complaining?

i hate to sound like a jerk but it is valve, not steam. steam is just the program, which valve created. valve is not fixing issues because they are retarded. to fix the server issues, i find deleting the clientregistry.blob file works. find it in your steam directory, C:\Program Files\Steam

Either way, why did Valve create Steam? To make more money? All it does is cause more problems. I liked it better when CS didn't run on Steam.

hmm that sucks Trama...you can always just connect to the SR servers from our homepage or yes, HLSW as you listed.

Whats funny tho is that everyone's had all these problems, yet I haven't had any problems, and I particularly like it

they are trying to consolidate everything for the user. in theory it is a good idea, but valve doesn't know how to code. ideally, and for many this is a reality with steam, you only need one thing installed into your start menu: steam. you can then launch every game from their. furthermore, all files would be located in the steam directory.

many people can use steam without problems, some cannot. like all software, it wont work for everyone, but steam seems to have an abnormal amount of users with problems.

but having steam running all the time takes up alotta memory which is another con
