Receiving periodic loss...

While I'm at home, my game runs perfect. However, when I'm up at school, I receive loss every minute-minute and a half or so, during which it is impossible to play for a few seconds. My ping is excellent, my rates are fine and I usually don't get any choke. Any suggestions on what I can do to correct this? Thanks in advance.

School networks are just really busy places with a lot of hardware and a lot of hops. There's probably nothing you can really do, unfortunately. Are you using the same computer in both places?

The only thing I could possibly think of would be to lower your rates. Yes, I know that affects registration but if you lower them you shouldn't need to transmit as much data across the network. Other then that I think you're just going to have to live with it. School networks=shit.
