Office Tournament Team Sizes (Poll)

It's almost that time again, the first tournament of 2008 is coming up this Saturday (January 19th @ 8 PM), and yours truly will be reffing this one so that hopefully papa w00tini will finally be able to play in one!

So the poll is simple, what would you guys like the team sizes to be for this one.

Large - Split everyone into two teams and let everyone play at once.

or

Small - Around 5 players per team to keep the "competitive" feel of a real tournament.

Vote early and vote often!

We hold these tournaments just for you guys, so it's important to know what everyone wants, so be sure to post your opinions on what you guys want these tournaments to be like.

P.S. I have some ideas for the next tournament that I'll put up a poll for shortly after this tournament is over. Stay tuned!

I'd like somewhere around 10 - depending on number of people showing up.

I guess I'd prefer 4 teams, split evenly - then you beat one, and go on to the championship with the other winner.

but not 10 teams, it takes too long.

I actually like the single game. sudden death kind of thing. permitting it's 32 players or less that are signed up

Smaller teams mean more waiting... Unless you can set up a second server...

Hmm... larger teams do mean that it takes less time. Might make it easier for myself to show up as well (especially since it wouldn't take all night). Might be an interesting twist? sheesh, just need a night where I can actually play -- shoot, i need to start playing some more or i'm goina suck worse than my imaginary cat walking on my keyboard.

I think that having larger teams help to keep it fun as well as it makes it easier to have balanced teams.

If people want a 5 v 5 campfest let them get a 5 man/boy team and join a league.

Because a winner-take-all format is basically just making a single Office round and glorifying it. There should be at least 4 teams, to make it seem more like a "Tourney" than just a reason to get on Vent.
