Sad Help
Someone please help me. Steam says i have been banned from VAC server's because i tried to hack the game. I would never even think about trying to hack anything. please help me i badly need you're help. i didn't do anything wrong. i am a true honest CS:S player and i am being accused of cheating. please tell me why it's doing this when i didn't do anything at all and please tell me how to fix this. I extremely need you're help. Thanks. I also just got my mic today. WAH!!!!!

well IF you did not hack and only IF I know that some scripts such as weapon skins and anything that involves with the user changing data files in the folders could cause this but thats very rare...i just pointed that out because my friend used weapon skins & hostage skins and after he applied them and restarted his computer and loaded up steam it told him that he was banned...But i believe they fixed this problem a long time ago...Emailing valve about this is useless don't even waste your time...my best suggestion is to just buy a new copy....Duke is 99.9% correct VAC doesn't lie Valve knows what they are doing...

But i cross my heart and hope to die if i lie. i never hacked on CS:S. something must be wrong with it or something. i never did anything. i never downloaded skins or anything like that. I also just got my mic for this game yesterday.

If you weren't careful with your user name and password it is likely that your account was stolen and used for what ever purpose that got you banned, but the bottom line is that Valve won't do anything so you just have to buy a new copy.
