 : 92 nd | | | cool new video site *much better than youtube* it's called noobflicks.
You only need flash, same as youtube, but the quality is insane. This is a great find since stage6 is down. It's basically just a gaming video site, not only counterstrike.
Like I mentioned in my other thread, I think teck should add a little upgrade to the forums where you can embed these videos
Anyway, browse through the site guys, it's full of great videos and you can add your own as well.
Anyway, here's the one vid I added. NoobFlicks > Counter-Strike (all versions) > nukeD

| Exactly, when you full screen it, you can tell. I have the same video uploaded at youtube, and the shit is so dark and shitty looking. Sound is off, and it's laggy as fuck. In my opinion it's a much better codec than youtube, and since it's fully dedicated to gaming, it's a plus. Thanks for watching though Quote:

| | | I was digging more into this.
Sonic, the lag you may notice may just be the way he encoded the video. He didn't encode it properly. The easy way to notice this is to pause it and see the frame overlap on a single frame.
For TV and Movies:
NTSC = 24000/1001 (~23.976) FPS
NTSC = 30000/1001 (~29.970) FPS
PAL = Straight 25 FPS
However, for gaming, just use straight 30 FPS or 60 FPS.
A 30 FPS display on a 60 Hz screen will be perfect since you'll see 2 frames per refresh. With TV and movies, the frame rate is less noticeable because there is motion blur. With games, there used to be no motion blur, so you would simply see continuous solid frames with no blur. You can probably get away with recording TF2 with motion blur at 23.976 FPS and it will look amazing.
Aside from that, one problem I've noticed with the site is that the small window uses the wrong aspect ratio.
The video is clearly 16:9, but the window is using 15:10. This means that the video is squished horizontally. When viewing it in fullscreen, it displays it properly in 16:9.
I'll upload my CoD4 video to see what happens to it. It's already in H.264 format, so I hope it doesn't re-encode it.
