Vista work around?
I've just built a system and put Vista 32 bit on it as an OS.

Most of it is similar to XP, except the damned security BS.

I'm mostly pissed at Vista refusing to let Steam run from startup, so I have to click around for a while to get it working.

Is there any other way to allow steam to open at startup without shutting off UAC? Does shutting off UAC work?

It's call UAC (user accound control), uncheck it and reboot.
