Lads,
It's been a while coming but the SR Office server has run its course and will be shut down on the 24th of this month. This isn't a budget thing, its just the cycle of life with game servers. They come and go, and this one is going to go away to make room for yet another wave of SR server history to take its place.
I'm looking forward to other titles such as Left 4 Dead to be the next happening thing here at SR that will give us all yet another game to pay together as a family of nubcakes. As much as I know we all love Source, the game is aging and there are many other PC and console titles out there right now that are taking away from our limited time to keep a server populated.
I greatly appreciate the hard work all of you CSS admins and regular members have put in over the years to help keep the server flowing nicely and competitive in spirit. Let's not look at this as a bad thing, but the beginning of another chapter in SR server lore.

| | | wow, that's a surprise...if anything, back in the day I thought Assault would be the first to go. I guess nowadays people enjoy more of a advantage/disadvantage map, than a sweet map like office. Too bad I didn't get to play in it very much!

| | | J-Mix, we all enjoyed it. Craig has to look at it from a different viewpoint than you, that is, how many people play on it, how populated the server is at all hours, etc.
Has nothing to do with your age. Me and Joe and Duke and Dan and Y2 and others could say the same thing as you, that's not the issue.
