css problems

well i have had this problem for awhile now.

decided to ask

the problem is very simple: My pc at random time of playing css. Will freeze

i can't alt-tab, window key, ctrl-alt-del, nothing i wait awhile

i end up having to restart my comp

so

sounds like a heat problem, might need to clean out fans, reapply CPU paste. I'd boot up and watch the temps.

if not heat related, i'd reinstall steam.

I had a similar problem and it was due to my graphics driver I reinstalled them and i was fine. As coffee mentions, perhaps your computer may be overheating.

i have reinstalled about 3 times...

its not the fan either i know that

i vacuum the computer about everyother day

plus its not that old.

old doesn't matter. I've seen new computers with poorly-applied thermal paste. I'd still monitor the heat and rule it out.

then do No-Fear's suggestion of reinstalling video drivers.

It could be low RAM and some processes are using it up and locking things up.

Sounds like a driver problem to me. Either install the latest for your card or prior versions where this problem didn't happen.

If you want to monitor your CPU temps try CPU-Z. Google that shit
For your video card temps, try GPU-Z.

Try system defragging too.
