Um.. did I miss the official announcement from EA/Crytek publishing minimum and recommended system requirements? If so, please post the link. Are these requirements even correct from this thing?

I am just concerned that people are getting false information based on bogus system requirements that aren't even known yet.

Yeah, gimp sucks because it doesn't use a certain type of alpha transparency something or other, I forgot what it's called, but it blows for making animated css sprays.

And I wouldn't trust that site completely on the scores it gives. Last time I used it it said that my computer failed for running HL2/CSS, but I can max everything out and still get good FPS.

That link was actually in the crysis forums, posted by an admin. I just never actually used it until now.

I just went to EA's official forum and found this thread posted by a REAL Admin inresponse to a thread titled "test if your comp can run crysis?" based on this same program.

BTW the 8600GS for some reason isn't detected on these tests..

at least I've heard from 2 of my friends.

awwwww it only supports a 6800gt or greater.

Duke, have you read the update that is there when you click that link? Please go to your own link and read the update.

Crysis Minimum Requirements Released
