What machine will run Crysis flawlessly?

When you get your 8800GTS 320 you'll probably be getting 22 to 32 fps depending on what type of CPU you have and in-game resolution you play at.. and what settings as well. If you play on all medium, there are some noticeable effects that are lost, but if you don't really care about it.. it wont matter. You'll be getting a constant 40-50 fps. You can always set some settings to high. The one that really makes the fps nosedive is the Shader option. That thing alone will knock off 5 to 10 fps instantly. Also, the motion blur that compensated at high will no longer be in effect at medium. It will appear more smooth and also feel more smooth. But hey, I love eye candy.. mmmm

don't forget that there is a 5% manufacturing defect rate. But I'm sure yours will work.

I remember seeing some benchmark site that showed little (0.2%) to no gain at all by adjusting the stream processor clock.

I have my GTS running at 600mhz core and 2ghz for the memory. I haven't tried any higher but I've never had a single lockup or bluescreen yet with these clock rates. I've been using them for quite a long time, too.

I just beat Crysis with everything on High, no AA, 1280X1024 and I only have a X2 running at 2.4 and a 8800GT along with 3GB of RAM and I got between 30-40 frames no matter where I went which was pretty playable. But what pissed me off was that Crysis would sometimes cause my system to lock up (had to close it with task manager) and it would, rarely, even go into the blue screen of death.
