I haven't been able to get onto the CS Straferight.com Office server in VA for a week. Found out that my roomy was playing in my favorites section of CSS and got kicked and banned a couple of times. I am not sure what he did, but I can assure you I was pissed off, cuz your server is ones ii can reach with out to much lag out here in the boondocks. Please help me out, I'd like to get back to some good gaming in cs_office... I appreciate your help.

I have played with Indica before on Office.
He seemed like a cool guy. He was good, but with no trash talking, complaining, etc.

I don't know who banned you, but let's keep the thread alive, and find the admin that had to take that action. Tell your friend we're rather serious about our fun around here, and the servers are well-maintained - so we have no compunction about removing the nasty rabble that come through lookin' for a fight, talkin' racial smack, or some other general asshattery.

So the next time your buds borrow your account, pending review by the admin who removed you of course, make sure they're sweet like a banana split, 'cuz if one of us has to ban the account again, it'll likely be for good. We don't have time to verify the existence of every homie, brother, mom and dad in your life who access the account. Tell 'em to get their own game.

Bottom line to this issue is: Tell Steam NOT to remember you or your password. Change your password and don't let other play on your account. We get this issue a lot, and many times we don't fall for the "My friend did it" excuse.

In this instance, your banning Admin will most likely return you to the Office, but just be on the side of caution and make sure that others cannot access your Steam account.

Just my 2-cents worth.

What is it with people that let their friends play on their computers when they're not around? I have way too much porn... err... data on there I wouldn't want anyone to know about.

haha, short story

my bros friends came over while he was out somewhere n he was gonna be home within the next 20mins so i let them play on his computer, what do they do? massive porn sites and downloaded music w/ spyware so the computer crawed everyday afterwards, i was assigned to fix it cuz of me letting them use it... the virus scan i used found over 2000 errors... moral of the story? dont let friends use your computer when your not around

Let me see if I can locate the qualifying admin. Wasn't me, but I'll hunt 'em down and let them know you're posting.

yankeedeuce was kind enough to post your stats and info based on the given steam ID in a place only admin can see.
Your ID was banned due to a racial slur. More specifically, your "friend" used two alias' with the slur. Sleepy(racial slur) and Busy(racial slur). You figure out the slur. And thinking further back on the third of March, which was the last time that account accessed Steam, I'm probably the one who banned the user.

Now there are two or more possible stories here: Either you're correct, and you've been gone for awhile, and your bud decided to mess with the account and have a little fun, or that account was activated and only ever used on the 3rd of March. If it's true that you've been gone for awhile, then the stats make some sense, because it only show activity for the last 21 days, and based on the stats, the account hasn't seen activity since before the 3rd.

The other option is more disturbing - you've had a Steam account for awhile and just started accessing it, or you activated on the third, played for a little, changed the name inapporpriately a couple of times, and hosed yourself for being a poor human. Our stats page has been buggered since the new site came up, so it's hard to tell.

The policy on the front of all shed servers with straferight expressly prohibits ANY kind of racial slurring, so I didn't think twice about banning your account, although sometimes I'll warn the player once. I don't remember which way I chose to go Last Friday. Based on your attitude, I don't have a problem opening your account to play on the server, once again reminding your friends, and you, to protect the account. You might also want to talk to your friend. He'd receive a stiff curb job (my foot, his face, and a street curb) for walking around talking racial smack in my neighborhood.
